Birds of Kenya

There are many species of beautiful birds in Kenya, so it's not just about the "Big Five" large mammals that we all want to see! We were surprised to see such a variety of colors and plumages. These are some of our favorite bird images, made in Amboseli, Samburu, and the Masai Mara. The flamingos of Lake Nakuru are in a special category due to their spectacular numbers, and are in a separate gallery.
