Elephants

These images of elephants were largely made at Amboseli NP and Samburu NR in Kenya. We witnessed many wonderful instances of family interaction, but the most enjoyable experience was watching the elephants bathing and playing in the river in Samburu NR. Capturing this behavior was difficult to do in still images, but we hope these images convey at least a part of the interaction that seemed almost joyful.
